A Poem

Moons Of Self

Has the gap between us
become a chasm?
Our arms less rigid
more elastic
attempt to reach across
the expanse
that tries to separate
and alienate.

The dream of opinions
and differences
Dissipates, as Moons
borrow pure
Light from the
Sun of Oneness.

About My Blog

Saleema
This blog is meant to share poetry and ideas that inspire and uplift readers. Etymology dictionaries describe inspiration as follows: "Inspiration, is derived from, "inspirationem" or "inspiratus," pp. of inspirare "inspire, inflame, blow into," from in-"in" + spirare "to breathe" in - in +spirare = to breathe - conveys the idea of motion, direction, or inclination into or to a place or a thing." I am hoping this blog will be a place where people can come for ideas, comfort and peace. Your comments and inspirations are welcome. Enjoy!
